Baclofen 2%, Cyclobenzaprine 2%, Ketoprofen 15%, Lidocaine 5%
Product(s):
This topical medicine is a combination of four active ingredients: Ketoprofen, Baclofen, Cyclobenzaprine, and Lidocaine. Ketoprofen is used to treat inflammation and to provide analgesia or eliminate pain. Baclofen is
a muscle relaxer and an antispastic agent. Baclofen is used to treat muscle spasm, pain, and stiffness.
Cyclobenzaprine is used to treat muscle tension and to provide analgesia. Lidocaine produces pain relief by
blocking the signals at the nerve endings in the skin.
How to use your medication:

Apply to intact skin. It is absorbed best after increasing circulation such as after a warm shower or applying a
hot compress.
Side effects:
Side effects of these medications are not common but when taken orally include: dizziness, fatigue, upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gas, constipation, nervousness, or headache. However, because BCKL is used topically, not orally, chances of these side effects, except rash, are very unlikely. If it is bothersome, or if you experience any other side effects not mentioned above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Precautions:
Do not use this medication if you have had unusual or allergic reactions to the following medications: aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or any other medicine used to treat pain, fever swelling, or arthritis. This medication may add to the effects of depressants or alcohol when taken orally. It is unlikely with a topical form, but discuss with physician or pharmacist if you have questions.
Directions:
This medication is for topical use only. Apply the compound to the affected area, in a thin smooth film, 2 to 3 times daily (as needed). If wearing a brace over the gel, make sure to first air out the area for approximately 30 minutes. This gel is easily removed with water. The cream should be massaged into the affected area(s) for about 30-60 seconds. Do not use the cream on skin that is irritated, peeling, or infected or on open wounds. Wait until these conditions have fully healed before using the cream. Patients should always follow their physician or pharmacist instructions. Patients should not exceed dosage
